Our CDT Students were set challenges by two of our industry partners: Roke Manor Research and DSTL.

Students were set challenges by industry and government partners: Project 1 was set by Roke Manor Research to explore Privacy-Sensitive Machine Learning; and Project 2 was set by DSTL to explore AI for Combatting Violent Crime.

Each team did an on-line demonstration of their project, conducted an impact assessment and produced a flyer for their projects as well as this video.

Being set these very real challenges by industry is what makes being part of a CDT unique as it enables our students to develop relationships with our partners and learn how to work with them to create a solution.
